During the morning at Mondo Music & Tech Wingate spoke at the roundtable "The Long & Winding Road", a look back on developments over 25 years of music tech. In the afternoon the scene shifted to the Digital Music Forum, part of NY Media Festival, where he spoke on the panel "State of Music Startups". A busy day!

  • Dick Wingate was recently a featured speaker at an international symposium Bruce Springsteen’s Darkness on the Edge of Town at Monmouth University. The interview focused on the marketing of the seminal album that Wingate ran point on.   • Dick Wingate was delighted to reunite recently with acclaimed singer-songwriter Aimee Mann, who he discovered and signed in 1984 (as Til Tuesday) and who just won her first Grammy Award (after 5 previous nominations) for Best Folk Album, 2017’s brilliant “Mental Illness”. Til Tuesday’s debut single “Voices Carry” went top 10 on the pop charts and won the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist.
